P03

In this final assignment, the project is collaborated with the Architecture Design I module. We are required to draw orthographic and axonometric drawings based on the 1:20 structures/models that we originally design.

To begin with

In collaboration with the Architectural Design I, I start of with measuring the dimensions of the physical structure using tools like angle ruler, yarn and compass to have accurate measurements and transfer it into sketch drawings.

 

Then, I started to draw the orthographic drawing in one A1 paper by showing the top view, floorplan, section and three elevations which are:

East Elevation

West Elevation

South Elevation

Moving on with the axonometric drawing where I utilise the floorplan to project the drawing accurately and precisely according to the dimensions. Labelling are to be conduct precisely to show detail and neatness in the drawing.

​

Finishing by adding the detail drawing by explaining the materials used and joinery like concrete to concrete and concrete to glass. Not to forget the design principle used which mirrors the structure design and the diagram for each elements which are the transition, path, portal and place.

Day of Presentation

We are to pin up our presentation board and models on the studio and be prepared to be examined by the panels and lecturers.

Reflection

Throughout the assignment,  designing process is one of the crucial in the assignments where I need to brainstorm and think of brilliant ideas to develop my structure to the fullest potential.

It is important to communicate closely with your friends especially doing the assignment where you get the opportunity to ask them questions or information to accomplish the assignment.

The progression of technology has been beneficial, allowing me to access information conveniently through platforms like Pinterest and Google Images. This has not only saved me time but has also helped me refine my ability to swiftly search for information.
